This is the nick-name of the house of the Prophet (PBUH), wherein he stayed with the mother of the believers, Aisha, daughter of Abu Bakr, God Bless them. The Almighty Allah honored Aisha by instilling the grave of the Prophet (PBUH), and the graves of his two companions, Abu Bakr (Al-Siddique) and Omar (Al-Farouq), God Bless them, in her chamber. This noble chamber is located to the east of the Holy Prophet Mosque. Its door overlooked the Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa, as the Prophet(PBUH) used to nod to Aisha, God bless her for her to comb and groom his hair, while he was in I’tikafmood (devoting time in the mosque). When the Prophet (PBUH) deceased, he was in Aisha’s room. He took permission from the mothers of the believers to stay in the room of Aisha, God bless her, when he was sick. Upon his demise, the companion exchanged opinions on the place to be buried in. Al-Siddique, God bless him, said that he heard the Prophet (PBUH) saying: “Each prophet is buried where he is deceased.” He was buried at that chamber, with his grave located at the southern part of the holy chamber. Aisha, God bless her, stayed at the northern part thereof, with no barrier to the grave. When Al-Siddique deceased, she gave permission to be buried with the Prophet (PBUH). He was buried one yard behind the Prophet (PBUH), with his head against the Prophet’s shoulders. Aisha, God bless her, has not placed any barrier between her and the two graves. She said: “They are my husband, and he is my father.” Upon the demise of Omar, God bless him, she gave permission to be buried with his companions. He was buried one yard behind Al-Siddique, with his head against his shoulders. Then, Aisha, God bless her, placed a barrier between her and the holy graves, as Omar is alien to her. She gave respect to this even after his demise. God bless them all.
