Thi Al-Hulaifa Mosque, or the Tree Mosque, or Al-Ihram Mosque, or Abyaar Ali Mosque

It was narrated at Al-Sahih that the Prophet (PBUH) stayed under the Samra tree at Thi Al-Hulaifa. Thi Al-Hulaifa is a miniaturization of the word Halifa; a name of water, i.e. a place where the Prophet (PBUH) liked to stay under a tree that was at the place of the present mosque. The public call it Al-Ihram mosque. This is the Miqat (timing) place of Medina. It was narrated at Sahih Muslim, quoting Ibn Omar, God bless them, as saying that the Prophet (PBUH) spent the night at Thi Al-Hulaifa, and prayed in its mosque. In another narrative, “The Prophet (PBUH) was offering two rak’as (Kneeling) in Thi Al-Hulaifa. Then when the camel stood upright at Thi Al-Hulaifa Mosque he gave this phrase: “Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik (I am responding to your call, O God) Labbaika La Shareeka Laka Labbaik (I am responding to your call, you have no partner, O God”) Inna Al-Hamda Wal Ni’emata Laka Wal Mulk (Praise, benevolence and prevalence are yours, you have no partner, O God.” Al-Izz bin Juma’a said: “At Thi Al-Hulaifa; the well called by the public Ali Well, attributing it to Ali bin Abi Taleb, God bless him, for believing that he fought the jinn therein, which is untrue. Yet, attribution to him is unknown for scholars.
